I skipped prayer group this week. Last time I went one lady took a phone call on her cell during prayer. The caller informed her that the Cal Harris trial was deadlocked. The judge finally declared a mistrial. Harris has twice been found guilty of murdering his wife and twice his conviction was overturned. She obviously wanted him free to raise his children. I was shocked, shocked enough to be glad to skip it the next week. The wife and mother went missing on 9/11/01, and her body was never found. He had told her he would do it.
Some of my favorite shows are like 48 hours and 20/20 where they give the details on murders and end (usually) with the trial..... it is truly unreal how often murder is committed by a spouse. No wonder they are the first suspect
