Your pitiful Apple super-ego is duly noted. To repeat: 90% of laptop users do not need to spend $2500. They will get by just as well with a $400 windows laptop. Preach your Apple
brainwashing to someone who is not aware of what the real world computer markets are like.
And in the real world Apple laptops are wildly overpriced for what average computer users need.
8gb ram is the max from what I see. I have 16gb on one computer and it works no better that the one with 8gb. My uses are internet, email, Office, other light stuff
You might find some Windows 8 computers at a great discount when windows 10 rolls out. And of course you will get a free Windows 10 upgrade with them
“Now with Tint Control.”
Yep, I’d think he’d want a “Do Over” on that one.
512GB SSD are at less than $200 now. And still Apple cheaps out by only putting a 256gb SSD in the new 15” Macbook going for $2000. Anyone who buys into this is a slave and a fool.
For $2500 the AppleBots will include a 512gb flash drive plus upgraded other stuffs
I think by September we may see 1024 GB SSD’s going for under $300. That could make possible for a Windows 10 laptop with 8 GB of RAM and a 1024 GB SSD selling under US$900—maybe way under that.
My opinion-— Buy the laptop you like with conventional hard drive X and put in the SDD of the size that you like. 512gb is enough for me
It is good to know you endorse Yosemite. I will take that to heart and try to find somebody using it so I can see for myself.
Thanks for the help.
There’s a much, much smaller visible difference from Mavericks to Yosemite than there was from Mountain Lion to Mavericks.
How about this one>>> For $349

Comes with a 500gb drive so remove that and put in your own 512gb SSD
4gb ram and should have an empty slot for another 4gb giving you a total of 8GB
