I get my exercise mowing my 1/5th acre kingdom with a reel mower.
I wish they had never invented the gas power mower.
My neighbors are out mowing all weekend long and after a few hours it really gets irritating - especially Sundays.

I hear you. And, even worse, some of them aren't satisfied with mowing just every other week. Much of my lawn is planted into clover which gets by just fine with a mowing every three weeks or so, even longer if it doesn't rain much.
Instead of having some gas monster which makes a big footprint in my garage and requires constant maintenance, I have a light 40# mower which hangs up easily and needs no more maintenance than an occasional blade sharpening and grass unclogging.

I currently pay to have my lawn mowed, good money spent because I work a lot of hours and want my time off.
That said, I have bought an old push mower at a yard sale that I am going to recondition, so I can go out and cut my grass at 5:30 in the morning or 9:00 at night.
Well, 5:30 AM maybe if I ever get up that early!
