Love the Highway Patrol. I had one back in the 80’s. A beast of a revolver on the mighty N-frame. I replaced the stock grips with Pachmayrs and it took some of the bite out of shooting. Damned heavy though.

I read Ed McGivern's book long ago and learned a bit. Do my best fast shooting with a big DA revolver. I sent the 28 back to Smith [back when you could do it UPS there and back home] and had them put the red ramp and white outline sights on it. May the purists forgive me, I wanted what the M29 was sporting so they'd match.
