“Her wishes” was voiced through her husband. The parents, I. Believe, disagreed that she wished such.

If I recall the arguments.

Curious thing. The argument that she is brain dead and devoid of any humanity in her body but we have to honor her wishes. As though the corn cares for the husk.

About as sensible to me as “allowing” someone to die with dignity by withholding water and forcing them to die of dehydration.

Actually it was her sister in laws testimony that she didn't want to live as a vegetable. The testimony was that they watched a movie about Karen Ann Quinlan and Terri said she wouldn't want to live like that.

As for being "brain dead", she was given Tylenol for menstrual cramps. That doesn't sound like "brain death".
