Who determines what texts are relevant? And why would he want to give them more ammunition for assumptions and inferences?

I’ve read the part of the report that includes the measurements of the footballs, which shows the NFL’s methods are sloppy, inaccurate, and certainly not enough to establish guilt. One of the Colt’s footballs measured below the 12.5 limit also.

It’s true that the NFL isn’t a court of law, or even close to it, which is a shame. The NFL involves a lot a money and involves the reputations of many who have worked hard to get it. Our judicial system is probably the best in the world and has evolved over centuries to prevent the kind of railroading based on flimsy evidence that we’re seeing with Brady.

At least he has the right to appeal, which he is doing.

He signed up for the ways of the NFL and has made gazillions for it. An appeal could well get the penalty knocked down to two games, which is probably about right.

I’ll be interested to see how young Jimmy G. does during that time, as he’s Tom’s successor.
