This is the way it's going to be, but seriously?

The balls were deflated to 1 or 2 psi below spec. In the second half, the Pats scored more points.

It's a trivial matter, like putting too much rosin on a baseball bat.

The penalty on the books is a $25k fine.

A harsher penalty is justifiable for failure to cooperate with the investigation, but the loss of a first round draft choice is ridiculous.

There is cheating on EVERY PLAY in football. This suspension and punishment is a joke. When a receiver pushes off to score a game-winning touchdown, isn’t this a more flagrant rules violation than deflating footballs? This issue gives people the opportunity to feel a little moral superiority over someone, even though THEY probably helped ruin America by voting for baby-slaughtering Democrats! Bob
