That’s you. Many of the graduates, their families, and friends have looked so forward to this day that they won`t even let a visit from Mr. Skunk spoil it.
Yep. That’s me! Half my family chose not to ‘walk’ at their graduation ceremonies, the other half did. It’s a personal choice. Some people DO think of it as a big deal. Frankly, I find them beyond T-E-D-I-O-U-S.
But if BO/MO/BC/HC were MY commencement speaker, I’d opt out, or walk in the next semester’s ceremony. Maybe I’d luck out and get the local weatherman as commencement speaker instead.
