Colorado elected Cory Gardner as our GOP Senator, and what a disappointment he is turning out to be....
Uh, maybe research this a bit better? How is it a Senator voted to keep John Boehner as Speaker?
Is he a Senator or Rep? He couldn’t have voted for Boehner and also have a six year term.
I have no doubt he’s a disappointment. Most are. I am not sure there’s anything we can do about it other than not vote for them next time. We’re in a long game, and after the 2010 victories, the party power has overtaken control. We probably need to wipe out half of the new people, lose control and start again. Seems no one heeds warnings about not getting reelected when almost all get reelected.
You are right. Udall would have voted to confirm Lynch. Perhaps we should get out those blue and yellow shirts and give him the Back Door Bill treatment everywhere he goes.
I am not a member but here he got a F https://www.conservativereview.com/members/c/412406#1
Look, the great thing about Gardner winning was never Gardner...EVER. It was a vote to remove Harry Reid, it was a vote to throw that absurd war on woman campaign Udall tried back in his face, etc. I”m not defending Gardner, I’m just saying that there are votes to send certain messages, and there are votes from time to time for transcendent people. I never thought Gardner was the latter.
And those things he voted for? Disappointing for sure, but they were ALL going to pass, period. Sadly. Don’t blame a rookie for not being able to change the world in year one. IF you do, you will NEVER EVER EVER be satisfied.
Gardner voted to keep Boehner while he was still in the house, after the election and before he was sworn in as Senator. Got it?
Thanks for clarifying - but don’t blame me because your first post handled that topic clumsily. I was not the only one to bring it up.
and what a REPUBLICAN he is turning out to be
Actually I think you’re wrong. That vote was not until the new Congress was seated -
I’m in complete agreement with you.
Another repub who has ‘grown in office’.
Turd is too polite a name for him.
Pretty soon I’m going to stop voting for anyone who runs as a repub.
Dog bites man story, nothing to see here. Move along.
Gardner was already a senator. He did not cast a vote.

I’m sure he would have gotten it wrong had he been given the opportunity. But was wasn’t this time.

Sorry, I don’t care if they were all going to pass, what happened to standing on principle? Is he trying to build a political career, or represent us? Looks to me like he is going to be a get-a-long guy, when it comes to the big votes.
Is it OK to say one of your precious republicrats voted the wrong way? That is what the thread is about.
Thanks for the information. Interesting.

Perseverance
One step up from Udall - badger him, to start acting like the Conservative he portrayed himself as, while his term is in effect and use him as a stepping stone to bigger and better things....
Sounds like a Dem turd to me!
When one votes to retain the liberal status quo, one is not working to “change the world” in any period of time. Replacing Reid with a Reid clone serves what purpose?
