Compared to the risks inherent in the unchecked "progress" we are now experiencing, stopping it would be an act of mercy, imho. Allowing it to proceed is a death sentence -- barring some unforeseen interruption, which an EMP could be.

It certainly won't be without collateral damage, but try telling that to all the people ISIS is beheading, all the people being forced into some form of slavery by collectivists and other gangsters; to the million or so babies being ground into dogmeat every year, etc.
