Savage did name one specific issue; to wit, that super rich competitors rarely if ever contribute money as he [Savage} does. I'd be remiss if I did not follow up.

I've had my issues with Rush and posted them on his thread.. but my listening to Rush goes back to his first days on KFBK Sacramento in 1983 (84?). I know people who knew him here. I don't recall that Rush ever asked his audience to give him personally money, BTW.

This is from wiki http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Phony_soldiers_controversy (should be phony-soldier controversy not a phony controversy) It involved a dispute with Senate Democrats, Reid in particular.

On October 19, 2007, the letter sold for a record $2,100,100 to Betty Casey, Director of the Eugene B. Casey Foundation. Limbaugh matched the donation with his own money bringing the total donation to the Foundation to $4,200,200. Betty Casey remarked, "The Eugene B. Casey Foundation believes freedom of speech is a basic right of every citizen of this country. Their purchase of the smear letter was to demonstrate their belief in this right and to support Rush Limbaugh, his views and his continued education of us."

Good friday intro. The archived anti-nazi propaganda clip is interesting because it sounds exactly like what’s going on here... a congress of trained seals following hitl... err obamo.
