Dumb question

I'm trying to post a direct link to 'my profile' to a friend. (we're discussing endangered Texas animals, and I have a large essay on this on my page) How do I post a direct link to my page? When I copy the url at the top, I get Patriot08 and what I've posted, etc.

Did you try that longer one posted by someone else?

If none of it works there must be an issue with your email preferences set-up. You can choose html or not not choose it.

what I got using yours was, ‘We did not find any..check your spelling, etc.

I use Yahoo. No idea about html there. How do you choose html on Yahoo?

I’m thinking that they need to rewrite html and make it even simpler. :p

Go to your mail and at the upper right you will see a wheel type icon. Hold your mouse over that and you will get a drop down box. Click on mail preferences and see if you can find it.

I tested it in yahoo mail and it worked. I just copied the address and pasted it. Then you have to add some text. Then send. But I am using Yahoo BASIC mail. So try switching to basic mail. That you can do like I said before by clicking on preferences and then switching to basic mail.

Or you can go to your freeper page, right click your mouse, click “save as” and save it as a document. Then in your Yahoo mail you can send it as an attachment from your document file.

Believe it or not, this dummy made the extensive (and I mean EXTENSIVE- using all kinds of html) 'my profile' page all by myself, using the FR sandbox site- took me ages and many trial and errors, but I did it. How could I suddenly not make the html work- not be able to send the page to a friend. I'm at a complete loss as to why I can't send a direct link to my friend so she can see my animals we were discussing. (sigh)
