(WOOD) An earthquake rattled West Michigan and other parts of the Midwest.
The shaking happened around 12:20 p.m.
It was felt around the Michigan.
The USGS registered it as a 4.0 earthquake centered near Galesburg.
Congressman Hank Johnson would say it’s too many people in Kalamazoo, causing it to tip over.
Doing National Guard duty here at Ft Custer in Galesburg, it was extreme for our platoon. Felt like the ground was going to open up and swallow us.
Here In Waterford, it made me think of how you shake a popcorn pan, sort of side to side.
It was a very pronounced side to side shaking here in Grand Haven.
Bring back the Western Interior Seaway!
I didn’t feel it here, but I’m on the other side of the state.
According to that map it looks like I will have sea front property. I always wanted to live somewhere with a view of the seas. Bring it on!
