The US should never have paid reparations to the Japanese who were interred during WWII.

The internment of Americans of Japanese descent was one of FDR's biggest sins against the constitution and was also a huge land grab the benefited FDR's donors.

The 'reparations' were a pittance compared to what was stolen. What should have occurred was to freeze their assets (houses, lands, etc.) instead of stealing them for non-payment of taxes.
