This is real. It’s the top trending video on youtube right now. For realzies. These gang-members want you to know that jee-whiz, they’re just trying to help Baltimore. Because the self-proclaimed “soldiers” of the Bloods, Crips and Nation of Islam feel misrepresented by the media. Yes, gang-members consider themselves victims… of the media.
Okay…It’s hilarious to see this guy toss both into the same sentence. Are people discriminating against you because you’re black? No. Because you have “flags” on? Abso-freaking-lutely! For those of you who don’t speak “thug-loser”, a “flag” is a gang color and/or symbol. The only reason one has a “flag” on is to let people know that they are a member of a criminal enterprise. When it comes to the Crips or Bloods, it means that every single one of them is a violent felon… otherwise they wouldn’t be allowed in the gang! The mere initiations required (hint: it’s not a knitting contest) would make your stomach turn.
The entire purpose to “wearing a flag” is to let people know that they are dangerous and may be hazardous to your health. It literally serves no other purpose. It is the “block-parent” sign of street urchins.
The crazy thing, there are lots of people who believe this! There are people who are actually condemning American media for discriminating against… GANG MEMBERS! Just go read the youtube comment section on that very video.
