We live in an age of sensationalism. We find ourselves in an era where every headline has to grab your attention, regardless of its substance in order to generate your digital patronage.
Thats the news industry in which we live.
Im hoping this can cut through that.
To the looters, to the vandals, the felons, the people in Baltimore (and elsewhere) ruining this great Republic of ours: before you call me a racist, before you call me insensitive understand that to use both would be an oxymoron.
It is my complete lack of any interest in your race, background, gender, personal beliefs and/or struggles that makes me an insensitive jerk. I accept that. It also makes me incapable of discrimination. You are animals. If you are able to destroy the home or business of your neighbor, youve lost your humanity. If you are able to harm your fellow man...

I’m with you.
This little flare up in Baltimore is nothing compared with other riots in American history. Some of which presumably occurred during your lifetime.
Advanced-stage collateral damage of the “War on Poverty”, aka the War on the Black Family.
Thanks, amigo.
But, but Steven - “Overreach”
;’)
At this stage, if they want to ignite a race war...it is not going to end well for them.
I looked up your bio and see that you were born in 1987. Which means you aren’t likely to remember the Rodney King riots, let alone the riots in the 60s.
To get a sense of what your fellow Americans in this part Baltimore are thinking, and since you are in the news business, I recommend you find and watch the tapes of the CNN feed from today’s “Situation Room’. Particularly the “man on the street” interviews in the last hour or so.
The CNN guy did a superb job interviewing people (even as the fire hose was being slashed behind him)
“Baltimore is nothing compared with other riots in American history”
It ain’t over yet. The National Guard is being called out by the governor.
Not to be picky but you misspelled ‘Running’. As in
“o the looters, to the vandals, the felons, the people in Baltimore (and elsewhere) RUNNING this great Republic...”
It’s a shame, because LAPD (which learned valuable lessons in 1992) would have shut the nonsense down before it got out of hand. It has become very adept at that sort of thing.
Why are we not droning these terrorists??
Mall being looted at this hour .... Just watched a systematic looting at another beauty supply store..... It’s always these beauty supply stores they go for first .... Looters going through prescription drugs strewn all over the sidewalks around the burning CVS ....
Pathetic state of affairs ....
I’m just saying that if we woke tomorrow morn and heard the army had killed all of the looters I’d be okay with that. I have a short fuse for people who burn cities and loot businesses
Well said.
The democratic Mayor of Baltimore who incited the rioters thugs to destroy the city should be put in jail and impeached.
Dozens of Blacks are murdered by Blacks every month just in Chicago. Obama should create a department in the white and hire several dozens of new personal to be sent as Obamas personal representatives to the funerals of murdered Blacks regardless of the race of the perpetrator. Is for Obama the life of a Black only worthy if the murderer is white, but is worthless is the murderer is Black?
According to FBHI statistics, 84% of white homicide victims were murdered by Blacks. How many times Obama sent his White House personal representatives to the funerals of Whites murdered by Black felons?
Because it’s a lesser evil to let them destroy. They were given space for tht you know. But like any liberal, they had to take things (more space) that are not theirs.
think of it as being for the greater good.
Righto
I laughed when I heard the Police Cheif say they are now going to use "tear gas" and "pepper balls". I say the next time the police see someone throwing a rock/brick at the police, they shoot use using SWAT snipers with real bullets. Kill a couple of these thugs and bet they will all disperse and go back to buying the latest Jordan sneakers from their mothers' welfare checks.
The more law enforcement allows them to riot (not demonstrate), the more they will be emboldened. The Los Angeles riots, when the police pulled out, is a case in point. Even the Fire-fighters had to stop responding due to attacks from the feral scum. I watched it from the moment of the flash-point and surprised that the LA police went dormant. A week later the National Guard finally came in after so much of LA had burned downed, destroyed otherwise, and looted.
The Koreans who stood on their roofs with rifles in hand to protect their stores are still my heroes for that particular riot. Nothing happened to their stores they defended. We need more of that. I'd love to see them go to white suburbia and try this shit. Of course they never do 'cause their chickenshit thugs who know they can destroy their own neighborhoods.
Liquor stores first, baby! Then on to other things.
