Good article.

Although MSG is not something unrecognizable. It is kelp extract. The chemical name Monosodium Glutinate is used because westerners won’t eat seaweed if they know it is there.

MSG is kelp extract?

I don’t cook, but from what I’ve read here on FR, even on this thread, I thought it was extracted from old car batteries before being injected in vast quantities into our foods.
