They hinted in the program where the error takes place. It’s in the brain. Under scans the brains of males and females look different. And some people have “female” looking brains while having male bodies. This is not something he could help. He did what you intolerant bullies wanted, for 60 some years. Kept his problem all to himself. I don’t know why you think he owes you that.
If you can accept that some people have dyslexia, and can’t read well, then you should accept that some people are wired wrong and also deserve kindness.
I have a sister that is transgender and it really up sets me that a majority of those posting here are doing it out of hatred or think the situation is a joke and is funny. I know my sister is mentally ill when she thinks that she should be a guy but unfortunately society wants to indulge there illness rather then face it. I agree with the statement that there head is wired differently you are right they deserve are compassion but not approval of it being treated as anything other then a mental illness.
Jenner wants the attention just as the rest of his family does....what do they do but create sensationalism as a career? Nothing at all. So this isn't about his transforming himself...this is about the sensationalism and the monetary rewards he will get by doing so...that's what they all "Do" for a living.
And the people who are morally offended by the promotion of this illness as something noble and sacramental deserve to be judged by Yaelle? I don't think so. It is not a kindness to call an obvious sickness "normal", or to encourage the path he is trying to take to "cure" his problem.
