Which movie do you prefer - Dante’s Peak or Volcano?
It's not even close.
Every time I'm flipping thru the channels and come across it, I usually stop and watch the remainder of the movie.
Volcano. I'm partial to the scene where Stanford "Stan" Olber carries the unconscious subway car conductor over his shoulders while the lava flows under the car. Praying, his shoes begin melting as he gets to the subway car doorway and in the end, he throws the conductor over his head to safety as he sacrifices himself, dying in the lava flow. That's a powerful, inspiring scene.
Volcano. I always enjoy movies where Los Angeles gets blowed up.
Is VOLCANO the re-release of KRAKATOA, EAST OF JAVA? or a different movie.

Personally I liked FAIR WIND TO JAVA.

I liked Volcano, where Anne Heche pretended to be Tommy Lee Jones’s love interest.
Dante's Peak - because Linda Hamilton was in it.
I thought Volcano was cheesy and that stupid sub-plot about the black and white persons going at it.
