He was then destroyed by the Patriots the next week.

Well, so was Payton Manning.

There is a really BIG crowd for that title, but Tim isn’t in it.................

I can think of a lot of quarterbacks who were drafted a lot higher than Tebow was and who did a lot worse than Tebow did. Tebow is not an NFL-caliber quarterback but he's nowhere near the worst ever to play in the league.

There was a QB for the Vikings back in the 60s that threw end over end passes, but managed to win. Joe Kapp
Think they went to the Super Bowl with him.

Being an ex-Floridiot I loved seeing U of F win the championship. But Tebow won with running, power running, not the pass.
I’m a Tebow fan and hope he makes it in the NFL and utilized to his strengths he could.

Yes it’s a wait and see.Really wanted the pretzel they made of him but the local pretzel place did not have them. It’s a fun ride with Chip Kelly and I hope his chess game pays off.Next up the draft.:)

Doesn’t Tim have a better playoff record than Romo?

Depends on how you want to look at it. Romo took the Cowboys to the second round of the playoffs twice where Tebow did it once. And he lost in the first round of the playoffs twice. So how would you score it?

November 2nd, 2014 Broncos vs Patriots resulted in a 43 to 21 SPANKING by the Patriots. The Broncos were fielding one of the best quarter backs ever (Manning).

It costs the Eagles nothing if he fails to make the team.

Tebow is part of the long list of QBs who were great in college but couldn’t hack it in the NFL.

...

Yet, in the NFL, he has a winning record and a playoff win over a 12-4 team.

Not even close to the worst (Gino Toretta, anyone?), but even if he is really bad I don’t think there’s really enough statistical data to make that assessment. Give him 2 or 3 years of regular play in the league, then lets look at the numbers.

In one season. And nothing since then.

Cracks me up. Moved to sunny florida last year and Saw the T signing as a stroke of Genius. Can you imagine the Jersey sales alone if he makes the team??? The boy deserves another shot. He’s been in QB camp for 2 years and they say he has greatly improved. I think they have been paid enough in advertizing already. Philly sitting on hands hoping Chip is a genius and not another Kotite. Camp just got interesting! I suggest Chip close camp LOL

The poor Marxist pundiots’ heads are exploding. Last year Foles was the 4th string QB for that idiot Kelly.

Go Ducks

The Broncos lost that game because they couldn't stop Brady (4 TDs) & the Pats offense, not because of Manning (although he did throw 2 INTs).

And then Manning came back to beat the Patriots in the playoffs that same year with a great game.

Ryan Leaf might have been pretty good, but was injured in practice. Really we will never know as Leaf injured his shoulder and was never the same.

What Ryan Leaf did was yell at a reporter and the press particularly ESPN closed ranks and smeared Leaf continually. That is a far different thing that being a terrible QB.

Not because of Tebow, but in spite of him. His stats, specifically his completion % is horrible.

Did you watch any of his games with Denver? Numerous passes landing yards/feet in front of receivers. Or thrown behind receivers. That is, when the passes weren't sailing feet over their heads.

WTH does a kicker know about being a QB?! Tebow has probably got chunks of guys like him in his stool.
