Why should I go with Android, which I consider to be an inferior system, when I’ve been using the iOS on Apple products, and have been very pleased?

Apple products aside, it seems kind of ironic that we have ‘smartphones’, ‘smartwatches’, ‘smartTVs’ etc., but only ~50% of Americans can read a book at an eighth grade level, and our high school graduation rate (which is at an all-time high) is ~81%.
