To walk all over the U.S. flag is illegal. I forgot which U.S. code it violates

Moreover, doing it on a college campus for 3 days is extremely provocative.

Furthermore, I found out the punk @ss breaking the laws were not even college students.

Finally, the college through several organizations are going to have counter protest of displaying the American Flag.

Overall, South Georgia is an extremely conservative area.

The Air Force Veteran/Drill Instructor/Playboy Playmate is really a side issue.... The campus police should have FIRST asked the non-students for their Student IDs. Which they did after the arrest. When they did the little cockroaches could not pull them out and left.

I notice the Valdosta State University Campus Police are now saying she was not “arrested” but “detained”.

This is because the Police no they have no case against the Vet.

To walk all over the U.S. flag is illegal.

Not if the person owns the flag. It's their private property.

The code regarding the flag has no force of law. It was a means to lay out the proper treatment, display, and, ultimately, the retirement of the flag. It's a list of suggestions, not law.
