I think it may have something to do with the pledge banner, but recently is the first I have experienced this unfortunate phenomenon. Example right here. The preview of this post is normal, but this comment is microscopic.

Certain types of coding can mess things up.
The book does not hit shelves until May 5, but already the Republican Rand Paul has called its findings big news that will shock people and make voters question the candidacy of Hillary Rodham Clinton. Clinton Cash: The Untold Story of How and Why Foreign Governments and Businesses Helped Make Bill and Hillary Rich, by Peter Schweizer a 186-page investigation of donations made to the Clinton Foundation by foreign entities is proving the most anticipated and feared book of a presidential cycle still in its infancy.

I did some investigating. The ONLY pages this problem exists on are those pages with the Freepathon banner message on them. Older pages without that banner message do not exhibit the problem. I'm copying Jim Robinson on this message. Hopefully someone can look at the coding for the banner and fix the issue.

Same problem, sure wish there was some way to fix it.
My eyesight is bad enough and I usually use a large
font anyway.
Any help would be appreciated.

I am reading this on a tablet, in landscape mode.
When I clicked on the thread it automatically scales to the width of the widest post in the thread. For some reason something is overriding the width limitations on the page.
This usually happens when someone posts a large picture, but there isn’t one here. My guess is that one of the “ads” has an incorrect CSS tag.

Thanks for speaking up! I thought that I must have somehow reset my browser settings. Was very annoying but you had the brains to speak up about it! Thanks again!

I'm basically answering "blind"... I'm on an APPLE iPad. I complained about this last year when FR allows posts of huge pictures that causes the same problem. On my website, the software limits the picture size so this does not happen, it is a simple fix if you know what you are doing. I offered a suggestion to FR and got flamed in a personal post from an anti-APPLE moderator that told me I should get a "real" computer. I have formally asked for an apology...and I will NOT contribute to FR again until I see it.
What you are experiencing is a signal of web incompetence. We contribute good dollars to FR, offer a helpful suggestion and get flamed for the effort. The site is great, the software is from the stone age, and the moderators need a little customer satisfaction training. Too bad most you who, like me, don't have a real computer, cannot read this.

I can’t seem to freep on my iPhone 6 for the same reason, the fonts are too small and I won’t wrap-around scroll left right for each line.
It only works well on the atomic web browser. You can choose a font size for each website. So I use Atomic Web just for freeping.
