I, evil white conservative male, hated by Social Justice Warriors, DC politicians and bureaucrats, and caricatured in the media as backward and unaware, live in an energy-efficient 800 sq. ft. domicile wherein all lighting is provided by a total of 110 watts (all on) of highly efficient, dimmable LED lighting, the power for which is generated by 2 - 250 watt solar panels and stored in 4 deep cycle marine batteries, which also provides power for a sine-wave inverter which powers and charges the computer, network and phone. I drive an automobile with a 1.3 liter fuel injected engine that gets 37 mpg in the city, and I drive under 5K miles / year.

But, being a progressive Hollywood star, his hypocrisy and self-entitlement is justified because, “The narrative is more important than the facts.”
I don’t know all the stats. I would have to ask Mr. Mercat. But he drives a 12 year old van which was efficient at the time he bought it. I drive a 8 year old Miata which gets great mileage. We put 8K miles this year on an RV that (wait for it) gets 18 miles to the gallon. My former office mate is a big lib and buys the biggest honking SUV he can afford every two or three years. One for him and one for his wife. A friend of mine is proud that he drives a hybrid but won’t acknowledge that the electric grid is powered by coal.
