Does it get painful when you walk a while, and then stop hurting almost immediately when you stop for a rest?

I have that. What's the diagnosis?

Probably bone on bone...I’m thinking it actually heats up when you walk too far too fast. Cools down when you take a break and stops hurting.

There are nerve endings in bone, believe it or not.
