If you watch the 6 second clip, right at the end you can see the wires between the two men.

At the 1 minute mark Slagor jogs back to retrieve the taser...

at 1.30 he drops it by scott..

At the 2 minute mark you can clearly see him pick up the taser that he tossed down and holster it on his left side.

I agree there are wires between the two men. I just think they got tangled between them as they were fighting. If Slager had been tasered it would have come out by now. And if Slager had been tasered, there wouldn’t have been a dart in Scott, since it’s a single-shot device and there wasn’t time to reload. I do think the video shows that Scott was the last one to have possession of the taser. Since a spent taser can still be used in direct contact mode, I can see why Slager would perceive Scott as a threat to his life at that point and go for his gun.
