There was more to it more than a traffic stop. There was a foot chase that spanned a couple hundred yards, then a fight during which he was tasered and the officer briefly had him under control, then more fighting during which he grabbed the taser. It was then that the officer drew his gun and decided to shoot him. The officer should have put the brakes on that decision when Scott ran but he didn’t, and now Scott is dead. I’m not saying it was justified, but there’s a lot more to the story than you see in the cell phone video.
Exactly. The cop could have thought that the guy was “running” away to get his own weapon.

On the website, The Conservative Treehouse, there is much better video footage, showing the taser prods trailing behind Scott as he runs from the Officer, and you can see the taser string wrapped around the Officer’s arm and leg.
Scott appeared to have grabbed the taser from Officer Slager, and we do not know if Slager was tased or not, but some think he may have been.
This changed the entire scenario for me. Fighting a police officer, try to grab his weapon, and fighting him on the ground looks like a felony to me.
I will wait until I get more evidence than that put out by the BGI gang that is trying to convict Slager in the media.
There are enhanced photos showing that the perp used the taser against the officer, and when he turned to run you can see that the cartridge was trailing out behind him.... So as usual there is more to the story than what the media says there is.
