In case anyone missed the two hour season premier last night.
It says no login required so I'm guessing its available to people who aren't Xfinity subscribers.
“Theres a Lake Simcoe in Ontario.”
The same.
And a county - Simcoe County
And a town - Simcoe, Ontario
And a crapload of elementary and high schools
And too many streets to mention. Every town and city in Ontario has a Simcoe St.
Have you noticed how similar the mannerism and speech patters of Robert Rogers are like Peter Falk in Columbo?
They got Arnold’s character right. He was a commander who thought outside the box and had no room for generals who wouldn’t fight. He was very outspoken, which was to get him into trouble.
I thought it was awesome.
He was a great officer who unfortunately had a big ego easily bruised. The smokin hot loyalist wife was a major factor in his betrayal.

Simcoe Bio

He was a bad ass - his unit conducted several ambushes on
sleeping Patriot outposts
Including one where massacred 40 Stockbridge Indians encamped in the Bronx ......
At least Patton was willing to admit he was a prima donna.
Agree
True. Custer is another example.
Officers first encountering him wrote of him as a showowoff or reckless but later comments spoke of him as a man who led from the front and inspired men to follow him.
Like all of the prima donna officers he was a war fighter and not a great occupier which got him into trouble in Texas.
Samuel Roukin is great in the Simcoe role.
Another really underrated actor is Kevin McNally who plays judge Woodhull. He was great in his comedic role of a pirate in Pirates of the Caribbean.
Yep, McNally is very good. I only saw the first “Pirates” movie and I don’t remember much about it, but I can imagine him in that type of role, actually.
I saw from a TV review that Abraham is over his reluctance, and he’s all in. I’m glad to hear it.
I just started watching season one on Netflix.
I am watching the repeat as we speak.
So much to gather in.
Very well done
I loved the introduction of Benedict Arnold, He was like an old pal LOL
Fascinating Character.
Wagging tongues and buddys get you in deep ****
I laugh in the movie Patton when he was popping off rounds from a 45 ACP 1911 pistol at air plane raids.
Still, it inspired the men.
Bold as Brass
The biggest Prima Donna of all time was Admiral Hyman G Rickover, but he changed the world.
That was a .32 or .38 ACP not a Model 1911.
Even more ridiculous. LOL
Mexicans have popped 45 ACP at me while we buzzed them.
I have one of those. Serial indicates produced in 1927. Takes 38 Short Colt.
Not that I've fired it much :)
How do you know that that's what Patton carried? I had always assumed it was a 1911 also.
