The Wild only came alive this season with the goalkeeper Devan Dubnyk who before played for the Oilers, Montreal, Nashville, Arizona, even in the American Hockey League AHL...

But his story is one of those human interest types, I believe the poor lad lost his mother to cancer. The Wild signed him right after his wife had a baby and off he went to join them. There’s some sort of story about him.
As a kid, I listened to the St. Louis Blues on faraway blowtorch KMOX, I once sent them something and then they sent me a bunch of St. Louis Blues stuff. So, I’m not always for them but I do feel a bit any time they lose.
The two goals they gave up were both pretty soft, perhaps the 3rd goal they gave up was soft.
Well, it’s still better to make the playoffs I suppose than miss them altogether which the Blues and Wild did for a spell there.
A great Game 7 to watch last night.
The refs “let ‘em play” with only one penalty called.
And the Islanders went down to defeat with an O for 14 in PP attempts.
With my Penguins out I will be pulling for the Capitals now. Many of the players were at one time playing at my local rink - the Hershey Bears - where I have season tickets since 2003.
