My pet peeve is the tattoos on the neck and face. The most I’ll tattoo is the upper shoulder, and that’s it. No way would I want to look like an MS-13 gang-banger.
I don’t have any tattoos myself, but I was called into jury duty once with the defendant covered in tattoos on his neck and face. He was in his early 30’s. I remember thinking, if he didn’t have those tattoos he would be considered a good looking guy. During a break one of the would be jurors said, “If it quacks like a duck”. The judge asked everyone if they were afraid of people with tattoos, a lot of people said yes, but when it came around to me I said I was more scared of badges and gavels than tattoos.
Needless to say, I wasn’t chosen as a juror.
