So, if Michael Sam makes his way back to the NFL, and Sarah Thomas calls a penalty on him, and the coach challenges the play, which way would the NFL Commissioner tell the replay official to rule -- the female ref, or the openly gay player?
Or is the race of the challenging coach the tie breaker?
Inquiring minds want to know......

Brilliant move for the times, but I will continue to be outraged until the NFL hires a wheelchair bound referee under pressure from something like the Americans with Disabilities Act.
I realize the NFL has not discriminated against hiring sight-challenged refs, though.
