Once hes running away what does it matter? He wasnt armed and he wasnt endangering anyone at that time.Fleeing violent felons can be shot. It's called the Fleeing Felon Rule. I don't think that applies here, but it is a standard policy.

Your fleeing felon claim does not apply here.
The man was not a threat to the cop or anyone else.
The cop has been charged with murder because the video surfaced two days after the “routine” shooting, and the minute it did, his lawyer quit the case.

I agree it doesn’t apply here. That rule/policy is intended for use with dangerous people who will go out and hurt other people unless they are stopped.
