It is clearly a mixture. Bobcats are short and stocky...this cat is loooong.

That cat looks Mountain Lion like to me.
BTW Florida panthers share a habitate with bobcats, so its always possible that there is some inter-family "amore" behind this cat's story.
This cat has none of the qualities of a real bobcat.

Local 10 viewer John Bailey sent in the photo he snapped Monday evening while walking in Sebastian Inlet State Park Monday in Vero Beach.
The photographer said he noticed the bobcat staring at a shark in the water that was feeding on a smaller fish. The bobcat then leaped into the ocean, caught the shark and dragged it onto the beach.
“Initially, it was pretty quick,” Bailey said. “Spotted it, pulled it up (and) the shark floundered for a while.”
Once the bobcat saw the beachgoer, it dropped the four-foot shark and ran into the nearby woods.
“I was so fascinated, I didn’t think about being in danger,” Bailey said.
Liz Barraco, a spokesperson with the FWC, said they believe the picture to be legitimate and were “very excited to see it.”

Well, got back with FL wildlife officers— they say— really dang big bobcat, and an old one to be going “fishing” instead of finding rabbits, squirrels etc.
So, good job.
Have you heard about Mexican jaguars migrating up into TX, AZ and NM? This is some stunning thing to be happening. Imagine on a hike in AZ and come across a freaking jaguar!
Like in Vietnam when in deep jungle some soldiers ran into— tigers. Whoah.
