Better. It eliminates WWI. And with no WWI, no Versaille, no Weimnar Germany, no Hitler (as anything but a frustrated artist), no Holocaust, probably no Soviet Untion either.

The US stays out of the European war, and shortly afterwards, the warring countries in Europe reach a settlement, as has happened with their previous wars.
