My daughter and I stopped by a local Target yesterday and they were closed for Easter. We were both very surprised.
Got nailed for working alone too because my guys tore out for the timeclock while we had a customer's car on the lift and the second shift guys both called in sick.
I was not aware that Walmart denied CCW holders access to their stores. Every one I’ve been in allows CCW.
“All sorts of Christmas cards but nary a one for Hanukkah.”
You need to go to a Walmart in Northern Illinois. I’ve seen many such cards.
Well since I live on the 0lympic Peninsula it’d be kinda hard ... thing was they used to have them.
Perhaps if you contacted your local Walmart.... I don’t know; just thinking.
I stopped at a WalMart here in Maine on Sunday to fill a prescription.....the store was closed for Easter.
Not crazy at all. It’s the truth, we are in a spiritual battle. It’s a shame that most people who call themselves a “believer” are clueless to what is actually happening. I find it so easy to get upset with what’s going on with this country. Then I come to my senses and realize that the Lord is in absolute control, no matter what my little pea brain thinks.
Such peer intimidation is not unique to WalMart, and is happening in many large corporations and in our armed forces. This is how Germany's small Nazi minority intimidated the rest of the nation into silence, then into obedience, and then into war.
We haven’t shopped at Wally’s for years..NOW we will post this everywhere we can and pray that CHRISTIANS do not darken their doors.
When in the world are Christians going to start speaking up? Christ was about love..no doubt..but he also was about what’s right, what’s true and no one’s doormat. Wake up American Christians..
Judging by the people in line in front of me when I am buying catfood, I think the only people that shop there (besides me getting cat food )are EBT slobs.
No Wal-mart, No Gay C Penneys, no Homo Depot. Running out of places to shop.
I think it’s some company like their greeting cards? There’s usually two large free standing cardboard displays ....
I know that my local Wal*Mart here in NW Pennsylvania did have Rosh Hashanah cards when I looked for one to send a friend a couple years back, but none of them were to my liking, so I found the right thing in the greeting card aisle at a local supermarket.
Good point!
Seems they are all pro gay.
And who is out front leading the parade? The pro gay media. Time to pull the plug?
I wish this guy would say who his “high level executive” friends are because this whole article strikes me as complete conjecture. I live in NWA (Rogers, not Bentonville but the two are so close as to be interchangeable), and let me tell you that the ones *I* know would NEVER allow such b.s. to exist. If all these accusations were true there would be tumbleweeds blowing down 8th St. in no time BECAUSE THERE WOULD BE NO ONE LEFT AT THE HOME OFFICE. This is the most church-dominated, Christ-centered area I have ever lived in and the good people here would never stand for such a thing.
Not one single example of such persecution was given, just a whole lot of conjecture—and histrionics. I’m not falling for it. Don’t forget there are a whole lot of people out there who would love to take down the world’s largest (non-union) retailer for any number of nefarious, anti-capitalist reasons and will use any means to do so.
Perhaps it’s time people of faith started boycotting businesses that intentional affront them.
And the Walmart by us was open. I guess it was an individual store thing.
