An ESPN.com poll surveyed 103 tour pros (21 major champions) and asked them a variety of serious and lighthearted questions. One of the questions asked golfers which of their peers they would be least likely to assist in the event that a fight broke out in the parking lot. Bubbas name showed up the most.
There are plenty of people who like Watson because of his unorthodox style of play and seemingly great sense of humor (remember those hilarious Golf Boys videos?). However, Bubba rubbed some people the wrong way when he basically threw a hissy fit last year because he didnt want to take part in a long drive competition. He has also been known to berate his caddy when things dont go his way on the course.

That and the fact that he admits to eating Cheerios for breakfast on game days.......forget the stupid Christian excuse, everybody hates Cheerio eaters...
It was an ESPN.com poll - it happened - they’re a PGA partner.... not some little irrelevant entity.
And golfers don’t all like each other, they have cliques, just like every universe of people. When Scott Hoch and Nick Faldo were in the playoff at the Masters, the feeling was most golfers hoped they could both lose. Neither was well liked. Meanwhile, everyone loves Freddie Couples. They’re just people.
And this poll? It was anonymous, so they could get honesty.
Some accuse me of that too!
Ha!
Honey Nut? Honey Nut eaters are the King just ask Omar.
.
You have a most twisted mind, on many levels.
And ESPN is a totally irrelevent entity that has ruined sports coverage across the board.
>> “When Scott Hoch and Nick Faldo were in the playoff at the Masters, the feeling was most golfers hoped they could both lose. Neither was well liked.” <<
.
You know this how?
Take a pill!
.
Jimenez makes every cut in every major, but is almost always like the last guy to make the cut. One year at the Masters, he was in last place heading into Sunday - and they had a drop out due to injury. Jimenez played first, by himself, and was done very early.
How do I know? It was common knowledge for those who follow golf.
And your ESPN comment is just absurd and frankly, a little bit - how can I say this - STUPID! They are the most powerful entity in sports - with one possible - and I say possible - exception. And how could they ruin sports “across the board” if they were irrelevant? Oops, you stepped into it deep on that one.
The twisted mind comment? Shows your class.
.
All of your comments here show your “class.”
Your opinions have to be “common knowledge,” huh?
Piece of work!
.
" 'There's no better feeling in the world that cruising into the Country Club in the General Lee, laying on the horn. You can almost hear the nickers bunching up...'
He's a great driver ...
What is wrong with you today? Off your meds?
It WAS common knowledge....not all opinions, but Hoch and Faldo were not popular on the tour. You can verify this with about 2 minutes of research if you still doubt it.
As with many if not a majority of pros on tour.
True. And family money can certainly help, but it cannot make the dream happen.
.
>> Bubba is an outspoken believer in Jesus Christ. Could that be a reason? <<
.
You Bet!!!
.
...
There are Christians all over the PGA Tour. That’s not it. Bubba is a genuine volcano, and maybe that has something to do with it.
No, its not real common.
.
What is wrong with you?
No it was not common knowledge, its your BS.
.
.
Media BS is all it is.
ESPN is the worst of the worst too.
.
Albatross Envy?
