We got belted Kingfishers around here. The blue is quite vivid, and you usually see just the flash because these guys are very fast.

Is the above bird a Kingfisher? Wherever I found it called it a Kingfisher but it doesn’t look like any pictures I have ever seen. It reminds me of pictures I have seen of a BeeEater.
