(KUTV) A co-founder of genealogy company Ancestry.com has been arrested, accused of sexually abusing a teen.
Prosecutors say 50-year-old Daniel Taggart gave his daughter and her 15-year-old friend alcohol and sex toys during an overnight party.
Police say Taggart played cards with the girls and encouraged a twerking contest. The 15-year-old allegedly got shot glasses and sex toys as prizes. Eventually the alcohol, police say, took effect.
According to the Salt Lake Tribune, the victim told police once Taggarts daughter feel asleep, he turned on a pornographic video and sexually assaulted her.
She said the same thing happened at another sleepover a month later. Taggart denies the allegations.
Police say they believe the 15-year-old may not be the only girl caught up in Taggarts alleged games.
He co-founded Ancestry.com but is no longer with the company. In addition to Ancestry, the BYU grad started LDSAudio.com...

No need to libel the company. He’s not associated with them anymore, nor does it sound like they encouraged, abetted or participated in the behavior.
