I’m thinking that it might be the guy’s son’s blood on the blade. Although he DID go into Rick’s house. And what did he go there for?
Rick? He was supposed to be at the meeting and not at home.
The Katana? Perhaps - but I imagine the guy had his own weapons.
Carl and the baby? He could have guessed they were there.
But, as one of my daughters mentioned, they wouldn’t have Carl or Judith just be gone from the show and not show how they died as they are such big characters. However, SOMETHING happened that they didn’t show.
Perhaps it was the son, and now Rick can “console” the new widow.
I was telling my girls that we’re going to have to wait longer for the WD to come back on than they were in mom’s tummy! (And we survived that too!)

Aren't Alexandrians required to give up their weapons to live there, though? They keep them in the armory Carol raided.

Yes.

I don't believe Carl is dead...I believe he's going to be the last man standing, eventually. But there is an event in the comic book involving him (I haven't read them, but I know of it).

Ugh. I see no chemistry between those two...the whole thing seems forced and rushed. And I admit I find Jessie bland and uninteresting. But I guess the writers want to go there, so...

LOL! That's cute.
