Would be very simple solution he was on a treadmill and just fell down and was embarrassed to say he was not competent to just plain walk.
Problem is his description doesn’t square with how a treadmill works. He said he was pulling very hard on some kind of strap that suddenly broke, sending him into a disastrous fall. I’m still trying to imagine what kind of a machine that could have been. Any guesses??
