Sometimes, the job is to come up with stuff they DON’T want ANYONE to use, so they patent it, don’t use it, and sue the he11 out of anyone who does.They appear to be getting ready to use it. Whether it's a reminder system for the intractably stubborn or extortion just depends on who has control of the buttons.
