I don’t understand why he is so popular. Not funny at all to me.
He gets into movies with a good supporting cast that carry the films.
Black sheep, Tommy boy, and The Nutty Professor, good god I almost died watching those.
He had a great cameo in Wedding Crashers. Very funny. He got shot with a trank dart in another movie, and that was funny.
The first Anchorman and Talladega Nights had it's moments. As one other mentioned, the Supporting Cast had a lot to do with it, otherwise pretty bad career after SNL.
