I can see why some here have a little trouble with the show.

At the same time, like you my thinking is, if they don’t like the show “The Walking Dead” they can save the preaching for church, don’t watch the show and stay away from the Walking Dead threads. In other words, “Butt out.” (Them, not you.)

I’m trying to figure out what I’m missing. I like some forms of the horror genre, but mostly in book form.
I used to read each new book by Dean Koontz until he made the characters crack corny jokes page after page. I guess I like the intrique, but not the gooey residue left on the floors.

It seems to make them feel self-satisfied, for some odd reason.

That, and it gives some of them a chance to brag about not owning a TV for twenty five years.
