I know all that ... my first wife and I homeschooled for 14 years before cancer sent her home

I'm on a public school board trying to do something positive and make a difference

IMHO...

you need to have some conservative activists in your town partnering with you to:

I) get more far-right conservatives elected to the board
II) create politely radical activist organizations in your town that push for (radical) things like:
A) ending state and federal involvement in local schools
B) teaching free market economics, business concepts, etc.
C) bringing the Bible back into public schools
etc.

You and your far-right board members, and the radical activists, even though you don’t have a formal relationship, will wind playing off each other to move the ball forward.

The activist groups will develop and expand the involvement of conservatives in your town and promote conservative ideas amongst the public locally. They will be the “pull to the right”. They can do all sorts of meetings, everything from adult education classes to charities to town picnics, to continually market conservatism locally. They really need to be helpful to the town and reach out.

You and other elected conservatives will thus “get pulled” to the right to keep your local conservative activist groups happy.

You can start looking for activists amongst local business owners and local Christian Churches if they are not mainstream globalist, new world order types themselves.
