Cruz is a natural born citizen by our laws, most importantly our first immigration law. The law was written by the first congress and contained many of the founders. I find it hard to believe that those who wrote the constitution made their first move to undermine it shortly after.
You mean the "Naturalization act of 1790"? Must have been a misnomer how they put the word "naturalization" in it. They should have called it the "Natural Born Citizen Act of 1790", but It's too late now.
