When I was a kid, I got shocked by the plug wire of a Whizzer bicycle motor. It literally knocked me down. I think it was only 6 volts.

Gasoline engine? Spark Plug? Magneto? More like a few thousand volts.

If it was a plug wire, I guaranty you that is was a lot more than six volts. The primary side might have been six but the secondary side of a spark coil is over a thousand.
