Its pretty scary, said Commander Heidi Prentup.
The girls mother noticed a bleach smell in her smoothie a couple of days earlier.
She thought that her daughter had maybe just cleaned the glass and that there was still bleach left in it, Prentup said. Then she started feeling sick.
The sickness passed, but she noticed a bleach smell again a few days later coming from a water carafe in her room. When she smelled the bleach in the carafe she confronted her daughter and her daughter told her that she was trying to kill her for taking her iPhone, Prentup said.
It sounds like the situation was probably out of hand before that,

See, crap like this didn’t happen when parents whipped their kids. Now we have to contend with this stupidity. All I can say is that she’ll make a good Democrat.
I’d give the little wench up for adoption!
She sounds like a psychopath and that is trouble. It can't be remediated or medicated.
Ditto...
It does, however, qualify her for a very bright future in advertising.
Is abortion too late for her?
iPhones are evil. Kid wouldn’t have done this over just an android.
I predict a successful future for her as a Progressive political operative.
Gee, my observation is just the opposite. Children who are whipped and cruelly punished are the ones likely to grow up to be psychopaths.
I’m not talking about unnecessary beatings, nor am I speaking of abuse. I am talking about corrective punishment. Even just spankings are better than letting your kid grow up to be a spoiled brat who wants to harm others to get his own way.
There’s a strong bond between a girl and her iPhone.
When I would take my kids to the playground, it wasn’t hard to pick out the kids that had never been spanked; their lazy misguided parents were going to inflict the little snots on the rest of us...
you kidding,if it’d had been an S6 the mom would be dead by now!
I’m not kidding. I can’t even imagine this happening, but if it did, with my children, I’d know there’s no rehab to this kind of depravity. Foster care, adoption.
Yes pretty much the same experience here. One particular incident, two other moms were sitting with me while our kids played together at the park. One mom was explaining that the reason they would never spank their children was because her husband had been ‘beaten daily’ by his mother and that children not raised with violence were not violent. About that time, we all happened to glance at the kids just in time to see her son pick up a rake by the volleyball pit and swing it like a ball bat, hitting my kid in the back with the rake end. They were probably both 3 at the time, so he could barely swing the thing and my kid was lucky, but the intent to do harm - violence - was obviously there.
The boy’s mom was much more intent on quietly asking him, over and over, why did he do it, and then explaining that it was just an accident and he was trying to rake the sand. Yeah, that’s not how it worked lady, and you saw it.
That’s right; the impact (or potential impact) to your child is meaningless to them.
Fortunately many of my children’s classmates are Hispanic and Asian; the families are often intact, and the parents believe in discipline.
An Apple fan girl. Does this happen with Android phones?
An awful lot of kids at my inner city middle school have them. They are almost all Latino and qualify for free/subsidized lunch... but they have very expensive toys, and (often) very truculent attitudes when you tell them to put the toys away so we can learn now. Let me tell you, these electronics are like crack to a 12 year old.
