Ad-aware works quite well, as does the super-anti-spyware. Either are fine programs
My laptop was infected awhile ago with a nasty adware program. I tried using Malwarebytes and couple of others....didn’t work.
The virus lodged itself in a registry and or system file somewhere and kept re-appearing.
Also locked me out of restore points. Finally blew the OS and reinstalled.
