they prolly used newer ones also, but they would never have used a Minx as the barrel is to short to get decent power from a .22 and iirc it's a .22 short i have a .32 Tomcat that i wouldn't want to use as a hit gun either
That is an old one.
When I got mine around 1974, they had already gone to a 1911 type safety.
