Michael Harari, who has died aged 87, was a high-ranking intelligence officer in the Mossad and was known as “the Zionist James Bond”.
In 1970, Harari was appointed head of the Mossad’s special operations division, Caesarea, and established within it the Kidon (“Spear”) unit that specialised in assassinations. Two years later, Palestinian militants belonging to an organisation calling itself “Black September” killed 11 Israeli athletes at the Munich Olympic Games. Subsequently, Golda Meir’s government instructed the Mossad to track down those responsible for the Munich terrorist attack and kill them one by one.

I saw a movie about that. It was interesting in that a couple of times it showed them killing a couple of people who seemed like normal everyday people but in fact they must have been evil.
If only I could be like him. Awesome.

The 1972 killings of the Israeli athletes is 43 years ago. It's quite likely anyone under the age of 50 has never heard of that tragic event...and if they have, won't remember it.
And they did it without killing children or women. Covered in two verrry different movies... “Sword of Gideon” and
Spielberg’s morally equivalent preachy “Munich”.
It is not well known, but there was/is a book “Confessiona os an Anti-terrorist” written by former SAS mercenary— it describes the operations to kill ALL of the Lebanon Marine Barracks bombers. Ronald Reagan, through his very capable former OSS team leader, William Casey (at CIA) hired the very best “deniable” private contractors of the day. And the did it, very well— walk in walk out of deepest terror enclaves, with Farsi speaking team members. It happened.
Have not been able to find the book again in any library— which is why would confirm it happened.
I remember in the version I saw, he kills an attractive nude German woman. With the bullet in her head she sits there dead with her legs spread.
He puts her legs together, I guess to hide her shame but his partner pulls them apart again, wanting to show her shame.
I believe they are talking about Spielberg’s “Munich”.
